Delete an AncienText account
Use the app for immediate self-service deletion, or submit a verified request below.
Delete inside the app
- Open AncienText and sign in.
- Open Settings.
- Select Delete Account.
- Review the consequences and confirm permanent deletion.
The app deletes the account, profile, reading progress, reading history and saved passages. It also requests deletion of the matching RevenueCat customer profile and clears AncienText reading caches on that device.
Deleting an AncienText account does not cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel or manage the subscription separately through the store account that made the purchase.
Submit an external deletion request
Use the email address connected to the AncienText account. AncienText may send a verification message before deletion to protect the account from unauthorized requests.
Do not enter a password, OTP code, payment-card number or store-account password. You may also email support@ancientext.com.
What happens after deletion
Deleted AncienText reading data cannot be recovered. Signing in again may create a new account with no previous progress or saved passages. Support correspondence and records required for security, fraud prevention or legal obligations are handled under the Privacy Policy.
